My child loves Disney princesses/Cars II/The Wiggles. Can you do any of these party themes?

No. Home Made Parties does not do any licensed character parties.

Can I just have a simple clown party?

Yes. Clown parties are our fave here at Home Made Parties. Simply book and pay for a 1.5 or 2 hour classic party package (clown party).

I have a theme in mind for my child, but just can’t think of anything creative – what next?

No worries – that’s our job and where we perform best – coming up with creative ideas to suit your theme. Let us get you a quote filled with some great ideas to tie in with your theme.

I saw this great photo on Pinterest/facebook/somewhere on the internet – can you copy it?

No. We do original work – although we, like you, are certainly inspired by some of the great ideas out there in cyberspace.

Why the name – Home Made Parties?

The name Home Made Parties encapsulates two aspects of our service and philosophy. A Home Made Parties event can come to your home, bringing the party and the fun to your child in their very own home (we come to you). Home Made Parties is committed to sourcing home made and hand made goods and products for your parties and events, made by crafters and artisans committed to creating unique goods with an emphasis on sustainability.

How much does it cost?

Please refer to our Party Packages page for a detailed breakdown of the pricing structure.

Party packages start from $165.

For most clown parties expect to pay from $195 (1.5 hours) OR from $250 (2 hours)

For custom theme and party creation, where we work with you to create a children’s party package suitable to your needs and budget the starting price is usually around $1200.

What do I get for my money?

You are getting piece of mind that your child’s party will be a great success. Hiring a party entertainer will take the pressure off you and allow you to relax and enjoy your child’s party.

If you hire Home Made Parties to create a custom event you are essentially paying not only for goods and services but for the design and coordination of your event.

How much notice do you need?

Well, that depends. For a simple clown or fairy booking possibly only a couple of weeks, if we have a vacancy. For other parties, involving catering, you may need to contact us at least 2 months prior to your event. This gives enough time to source products. (3-4 months is even better!) Christmas is usually the busiest time, so if you need a Christmas booking, PLEASE contact us at least 1 month prior to your event and accept that you may need to be flexible with the times on offer.

We do NOT usually accept bookings more than four months is advance.
